How to set the price of the ID protection service

This quick tutorial video will show you how to modify the Whois Protection service pricing. To modify the pricing of the ID protection service that you offer to your customers, you need to pass just a few simple steps.

To start the set-ID protect pricing procedure - you will need to open your Reseller Control Panel. You can do that by clicking on the LOG IN link in the upper right corner of our site and introducing your free reseller account log-in credentials - your reseller username and password in the corresponding fields. After that click on the login button to open the Reseller Control Panel.

Now let's go to the Domain Pricing section of your Control Panel. When arriving at the Control Panel index page - point your cursor to the Hosting Services menu on the left and click on Domain Pricing. Once you are in the Domain pricing management interface, you can have full control over the prices of the offered domain services.

For the purposes of this example - we will focus on the ID Protection section. To open it - click on the IDP Prices tab in the Domain Pricing navigation menu. In the set-ID-Protect-price interface you will see listed all TLDs that support a Whois Protection option.

It is recommended that you select to offer as many TLDs that support ID protection as possible. This service is a strong selling point for your domain offerings.

Following is a table where you can modify the price of the Whois Protection service from. Simply replace the default price values in the Retail fields with your custom ones. You can also modify the multi-year pricing and offer attractive discounts to your clients if they order Whois Protection with their domain for more than 1 year. When setting the Whois Protection pricing please keep in mind the pre-defined minimum and maximum annual price values. They are displayed right above the table.

You can also change the currency, if necessary, from the Store Default Currency option.

When ready defining the Whois Protection prices - hit the Save Changes button to apply the new settings. A green pop-up message will confirm for you that the ID Protect prices have been set successfully.
