As we informed you some time ago, the price hike trend on the TLD market during the last year and a half has forced us to adjust our prices to the new situation. Registries justify the price increase with the demand for new investments to handle the 50+ million new domain registrations each year. However, we do believe that this situation can hardly be justified.
This is why we, at ResellersPanel, did not join the major price increase campaign, which affected all gTLDs in the beginning of 2012. Now we are faced with yet another price increase, but we are ready to keep your interests again.
After a careful consideration of the current situation, we have decided to keep the registration/transfer prices for .COM and .NET domains unchanged. Although this is in conflict with our interests, it will give your business a strong selling point in the context of the global TLD price increase, which, we believe, is a fair tradeoff.
Here is a list of the new final wholesale prices for .COM, .NET, .INFO,.ORG and .BIZ, which took effect on the 29th of July:
TLD | REGISTRATION/TRANSFER | RENEWAL |
.net | $9.00 * | $9.95 |
.info | $9.95 | $9.95 |
.org | $9.95 | $9.95 |
.biz | $9.95 | $9.95 |
* This is the price for the first year of registration and transfer. You can update it for .COM and .NET only from the Domain Prices section of your Reseller Control Panel.
This price update has incurred a change to the domain pricing interface in your Reseller Control Panel. From now on, you will be able to set unique .COM and .NET registration (only for the first year), transfer and renewal prices. You can find the newly extended interface in the Domain Prices section of the Reseller Control Panel. Here is how the new flexible pricing options for .COM and .NET look like:
