What makes our private label reseller hosting services a worthwhile undertaking? One of the principal factors is our continuous aspiration for enhancing the functionality of our free reseller hosting system, by improving the existing features and adding brand new options.
New mailing list, ability to run Crontab processes, multi FTP accounts, SiteStudio and FrontPage Extensions tutorials, over 3500 Perl modules - all these features are now available in the new advanced Control Panel.
Mailing list
A mailing list is a system which allows people to send an e-mail to one address, where their message and/or attachments are copied and then resent to all of the other subscribers in that particular mailing list.
Crontab processes
Crontab - The cron daemon is a long-running process that executes pre-defined commands at a give date and time. Users can use this to schedule activities, either as a one-time event or as a recurring tasks. On most systems, system administrators permission must be gained before submitting cron job requests. On some shared hosting systems, because there is only one crontab file, only the administrator has access to modify it.
Multi FTP accounts
FTP is an abbreviation for File Transfer Protocol. FTP is the best way for moving large files across the Internet or on remote computers. It is a client/server protocol which enables anyone using an FTP client to log on to a remote machine, to navigate it's files and upload or download files from that machine. The two basic types of FTP on the Internet today are private and anonymous FTP. With private FTP, one logs in with the username and password one has established on that particular system. The logged in user will then be moved into their personal home directory, with all the file permissions they would normally have there. Anonymous FTP, on the other hand, requires the user to log in the same way as with every other anonymous FTP server - he must use the user "anonymous" and give his e-mail as a password (Important! Anonymous FTP if not supported by Resellers Panel website hosting).
Site Studio
Our free advanced online web site builder will help you create and modify your brand new web page with ease! Site Studio has been optimized to guarantee your easy and pleasant work with web pages. Now you can have a web site up and running in 30 minutes!
FrontPage Extensions
FrontPage is a Microsoft product. It's software is built for web publishing and it's main priority is that it allows HTML programmers a visual perspective when creating web documents. FrontPage's capabilities are fairly decent for building, for example, the essential HTML tables. It also allows users to FTP documents to a web server, giving them the ability to view their web pages online. (FrontPage Extensions Server add-ons which allows users to make use of pre-defined functions such as hit counters, Java buttons and form validation).
With other words FrontPage is one of the so-called WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) editors for web page designing and maintaining. In order for users to use a site designed with Front Page, the virtual server you have must support the appropriate server extensions.
Video tutorials on how to use FrontPage Extensions were added inside the web hosting control panel of Resellers Panel website hosting.
Over 3500 Perl modules
A Perl module is a reusable package defined in a library file whose name is the same as the name of the package (with a .pm on the end).
