Hopefully, you remember our informative news, around three months ago, regarding the top-level domain name price changes imposed by VeriSign, Afilias, Neulevel and Public Interest Registry registries. As a result, our registrar eNom Inc. had to increase their prices correspondingly with $0.50 USD. The TLDs affected were .COM, .NET, .ORG, .BIZ, .US, .INFO, .TV and .NAME.

We, at our part, decided to maintain our prices unchanged for as long as possible, so as to take our time to observe the market and decide on a financial strategy that would be suitable for everyone. Now, after final estimating, we would like to announce our accordingly updated pricing policy, to come into effect from January 28th, and our marketing strategy recommendations.

ResellersPanel's price changes will be laid only on the .COM, .NET, .ORG, .BIZ, .US and .INFO TLDs, as follows:

• With $0.50 USD will be increased the wholesale price of the aforementioned TLDs when purchased by the reseller through the reseller's control panel (old price $8.00, new price $8.50), or when purchased as an upgrade procedure (by the reseller or by the end-client) through the Web Hosting Control Panel (old price $8.50, new price $9.00).
• With $1.00 USD will be increased the wholesale price of the aforementioned TLDs when purchased (by the reseller or by the end-client) together with a web hosting account (old price $4.00, new price $5.00).

On January 28th, all domain prices will be updated in your clients' Web Hosting Control Panels, as follows:

• Domain names offered at a retail price lower than $9.00 USD will be automatically set to the new prices of $9.00 USD.
• All domain names offered at a retail price higher than $9.00 USD will remain unchanged.

You, as a web hosting reseller, can decide in your turn, according to your personal pricing policy, whether to update the unchanged prices in the Web Hosting Control Panel-s of your clients from your Reseller Control Panel, or to leave them unchanged. Please, *Note, that if you decide to preserve those prices unchanged, you will have to expect a decrease in your commission amount corresponding to the wholesale price change.

Our marketing specialists, after extensive research, would like to advice you to maintain the domain name price levels as low as possible. Our latest practice has shown that far more profitable appears to be the web hosting plan purchasing targeted campaign, stimulated by low price domain name offerings or free domain names offered with the plan. The more and cheaper domain names clients can add to their accounts, the higher is the probability that they would soon afterwards need an additional or with better extras web hosting plan.
