Our latest system upgrade is the Server Log Monitoring feature that has been added to the Web Hosting Control Panel for the convenience of your web hosting clients. Since the web hosting network of ResellersPanel consists of more than one server, now all web hosting clients will have the opportunity to observe in real-time the load of the server, where their account is hosted. We have added this tool with a single purpose, to show all web hosting clients that we do not resell a single server multiple times and that the number of web hosting accounts on each server is optimized for trouble free operation and support of each hosting account. This, of course, is possible as far as all people in the world can be influenced by force majeur circumstances, which are beyond the control of any person such as natural disasters and blatant e-mail spammers, who cannot fully block the operation of the specific server, but can create a serious server load for a short period of time. E-mail spammers are immediately blocked, of course. They are a problem for the entire Internet community and regrettably, a universal solution to this problem has not been found yet.
In order to decrease costs and increase profits many web hosting companies are currently trying to put a maximum number of web hosting accounts on a single shared server. Disregard of the capabilities of the hardware and the operation of the software often leads to serious server loads and to serious degradation in the quality of the provided web hosting service. We have reached this very simple conclusion through our own negative experience. We are not ashamed to admit it, because we are happy that we are not a complacent company that does not learn from its mistakes. On the contrary, many of our developments are inspired by the advice from our web hosting resellers and web hosting clients.
The table with information about the server loads is placed in "Server Information" section of the Web Hosting Control Panel and displays the average load for three periods - 1 minute, 5 minutes and 15 minutes.
Web hosting clients should not worry if server load does not change with each refresh of the page. To avoid the increase of the server load, the table is updated at 15-minute intervals. Everyday from 10:00 to 11:00 PM EST server load will reach 1.5 - 2, because at this time we activate the daily backup, which increases disk usage on the servers. If on any occasion you notice that server load exceeds 2 at any other time, it is advisable that you ask for help though the Help Center, which is accessed though the Web Hosting Control Panel, since high server loads can be a proof of possible e-mail spam activity. We will review all accounts of increased server load and will block spam senders in case that such appear.
