FTP

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. It is primarily used for uploading or downloading files to and from remote computer systems on a network using TCP/IP, such as the Internet. An FTP account represents a username and password, which is used to login to a users FTP archive or to be able to access it with a software program (FTP client or an HTML editor).
