Domain Name Registration

Domain registration is the process of registering a unique name address (e.g. mydomain.com) which will identify your web site on the Internet. Domains consist of top-level domain name (mydomain) and secondary-level domain name (.com). After you/your clients register a domain name, you/they need to assign to it name servers (DNSes) which will point to the IP address of the server where the domain is hosted. Any server can host multiple domain names, but a domain name can only point to one server.
