New ResellersPanel upgrades are available! It is our pleasure to introduce the Multi-Currency Billing and Payments Solution, and the new order processing system. These major upgrades are the result of the hard work of so many people involved in both projects, and that's why we believe that this release will satisfy the customers' needs and contribute to the making of more successful marketing campaigns.
MULTI-CURRENCY BILLING AND PAYMENTS SOLUTION - WHAT IS IT?
This solution will be of great benefit to the resellers who prefer to offer the web hosting services on their stores and in their clients' Web Hosting Control Panel in currencies different from USD. The currencies our system now supports include USD, EUR, GBP, AUD and CAD. The clients will be able to pay in any of these currencies on the sign-up pages. Our developers are working on a similar solution for payments through the web hosting control panel (i.e. upgrades, domain registrations, renewals, etc).
How to change the default store currency?
There is an interface that allows our resellers to manage the store currency. The interface is located in the Reseller Control Panel -> Store Settings -> Store Currency. In this section, a detailed explanation of the multi-currency solution is available, including the currency exchange rates, examples of price calculations and explanations of the fees that must be taken into account.
NOTE: One should pay special attention to the explanations that concern the fees that are being added / removed during the calculations, in order to understand completely how the final pricing is defined.
How to change the commission currency?
The multi-currency solution allows the web hosting reseller to choose the currency for his/her reseller commission. This can be done through the reseller's control panel -> Account Profile -> Payment Options. The commissions can be paid by check, through PayPal or via a bank wire. The minimum release levels for check and PayPal payments are 50 USD, EUR, GBP, AUD or CAD, and 500 - for bank wire payments in the same currencies. In other words, the amount remains the same while the currency can be changed.
Which services the multi-currency solution does not support?
As of now, the free hosting reseller wallet option and the Domain Manager section of the reseller's control panel have not yet been integrated with the new multi-currency solution. The Domain Manager is being upgraded separately. Some new domain extensions (TLDs) will be made available in the web hosting control panels as well. A separate news story will be posted when this section is ready for use.
NEW ORDER PROCESSING SYSTEM - WHAT'S NEW?
Our desire was to make a multi-currency payments solution available to our resellers, as well as to establish secure payment procedures through the resellers' web stores and the clients' web hosting control panels. This is the reason behind our decision to choose PayPal as our main authorized retailer and their PayPal Pro payments solution. This means that PayPal will handle all credit / debit card payments, as well as direct payments by PayPal members, using the Express Checkout function.
We are not going to use the services of WorldPay anymore but we will keep using 2Checkout for credit and debit card payment processing purposes in cases when there are problems with the PayPal credit/debit card payment gateway.
